How Ke$ha could end up on my iPod

I saw the Ke$ha video for "we R who we R" the other day and then heard it on the radio again this morning. For some very random reason it made me think of my mom and how she would have reacted to the video and the lyrics.  I could just hear my mother's sweet Atlanta accent flowing, only slightly terse in response to what she's seeing and hearing, and I can clearly see the tilt of her head, eyebrow raised, one hand on her hip:

Ke$ha: "...looking sick and sexy-fied..."
My mother: "well, she's definitely looking sick, but I don't know how anyone would think that's sexy"
Ke$ha: "...we're dancing like we're dumb..."
My mother: "now why would it be a good thing to dance like you're dumb? why wouldn't you dance like you're cool or smart?..."
Ke$ha: "...our bodies going numb..."
My mother: "I imagine they would be going numb, because she is definitely on something. You don't know anyone like that do you? You know it's not a good idea to do things that make you numb, right? Do you actually like this song?"

Ke$ha, your music is not something I've ever sought out but you gave someone the inspiration for the greatest classic Star Trek montage ever and you've given me a superb quote from my daughter (her response to your line "...just like the world is ours..." was "mommy, she said the world is hers, but it's not! It's mine!") and for some unfathomable reason you not only made me think of my mother but have given me an imagined scerario that lets me feel her even though she is no longer here. So you may actually end up on my iPod one day. That's the excuse I'll be giving anyway.
